The Circles of Hope curriculum is founded on restorative circles. Restorative circles are structured group discussions where participants, including the facilitator, sit in a circle. The facilitator's role is to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Facilitator training and a guide are provided.
The curriculum consists of five topics, each featuring five or six lessons aimed at promoting sharing while fostering empathy and understanding within the community.
Given the acute suicidal crisis faced by the LGBTQ+ population, an additional topic is included that focuses on suicide.
